Our revolutionary spring tensioning tool
TurnSafe™ is a revolutionary spring tensioning tool and our latest innovation. It is a safety tool designed, developed and manufactured exclusively by Transcover.
Health and safety is of paramount importance to us, which is why we regularly reach out to our customers for feedback. During one discussion, the safe removal and installation of tarpaulins was raised as a potential opportunity for improvement. Feedback was passed on to our product development team and the TurnSafe™ tensioning tool was born.
Prior to its inception, installers would use a crank handle or adjustable spanner to assist with removal of tarpaulins. With significant tension being held in the tarpaulin rollerbar, there was a risk of injury if not carried out with due care.
Our breakthrough workshop safety technology is a ratchet driven handle designed to specifically ensure secure and hassle-free tensioning of sprung loaded tarpaulin rollerbars. The handle allows the installer to remove tension with complete control and ease while removing the threat of sudden jolts or unwanted movement. The device simply fixes to your systems compatible rollerbar and instantly takes the load, keeping you and your staff safe.
The user-friendly, ergonomic design is accessible for all levels of experience, from apprentices to seasoned professionals and it is revolutionising the way workshops approach tarpaulin installation.
With the TurnSafe™, your workshops will be equipped to uphold the highest standards of safety while also enhancing productivity.
“We purchased the TurnSafe™ product to better equip our drivers for replacing their own nets. TurnSafe™ allows us to release any tension on the net, and make the activity much safer for our drivers!” – Sam Carford, Transport Manager / Operations Assistant, ELG Stainless EMEA
