Tell us who you are and what your role is here at Transcover?
I am Dave Troughton and I am the Production Manager here at Transcover.
What does that role involve on a day-to-day basis?
Ordering material, raising orders, meetings, liaising with other departments and making sure deadlines are kept to, working with the drawing office on new systems and parts, designing new products and to speed up the manufacturing process and finally machining new components.
Tell people something they may not know about you?
I love Harry Potter films and I have a real passion for all things Engineering.
Night in or Night out?
Night out, at the movies and a few drinks at a country pub.
Cooked Dinner or Takeaway?
Takeaway Pizza every time.
City Break or Summer Holiday?
Summer holiday fishing in France for a big carp.
Favourite Sports team or Hobby?
F1, my favorite driver is Lando Norris , Football I support Millwall/ Dartford FC as I go both home and away games.
