What feels like a lifetime ago back in 2020, Vicky in our sales team was contacted by Chris Stevens from Aalco Hampshire, looking for a solution to sheet his fleet of drop-side tippers. With a body length of nearly 9m and the need to protect sharp metal from all elements as well as keep the drivers happy, we knew exactly the system for the job – PullCover Electric.
One of the many advantages of designing and manufacturing all our sheets and systems in house we were able to create a bespoke housing mounted to the headboard and incorporate a bespoke 9m PVC sheet, and with a press of a remote button starting up the 24v electric motor we have a sheeting system that ticks all the customers’ requests.
With continued health & safety changes within our business sector and news of the good work, Callie Williams-Ward from Aalco Chepstow was soon to follow suit, sending up another 2 drop-sides to our workshop to be fitted with these bespoke systems.
