Ashley our Employee Welfare Manager was invited to attend MidKent College Careers Fair on the 3rd & 5th May, at both the Medway and Maidstone campus. This was an ideal occasion to showcase the variety of career opportunities Transcover has offer.

“This was a wonderful opportunity and I was very lucky to speak to so many enthusiastic young people, with such a keen interest and fascination in engineering. David our Production Manager came with me, he was delighted to share some of his vast wealth of knowledge obtained over many years within engineering and machining to the next generation of talent. As a family run business our team of passionate and knowledgeable engineers respond to the evolving landscape of vehicle management with problem-solving and innovative solutions and it is very exciting to welcome apprentices to join our team who share the same ethos this summer”
Transcover are currently seeking apprentices for Level 3 Machining technician. During this apprenticeship full training and support will be given to learn all aspects of machining engineering including safety requirements & regulations, manual milling, CNC machining, fitting & assembly, to read and understand technical drawings, R&D as well as CAD / CAM. Entry requirements for this apprenticeship, Applicants should have – 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at minimum grade C or 4 and above (Candidates who completed study overseas and are now working in the UK may also be eligible. Please contact us to discuss your application.) Satisfactory completion of the college initial assessment plus a satisfactory college interview.
