A word from Alex about the happenings in March
As Easter draws in on us, it marks the end of a very exciting month for us all at Transcover. March has seen us take on a new Parts and Tarps Centre in the north of the country just outside Warrington. After a little bit of work kitting out the warehouse and a big stock delivery, the unit is now up and running. This provides us a secondary point to service for both our existing customer base and helps to grow new business ensuring we can provide the best possible customer service across the country.
The new warehouse allows us to hold stock of our fast moving replacement parts and tarps for local customers. In addition to the next day delivery service still provided across the country from our factory in Kent, we hope that this will aid in reducing downtime for our customers keeping their vehicles on the road. As Paul, the Transcover Managing Director said, “We believe that this new unit is a significant step forward for our company, and we are excited to see how it will help us better serve our customers. We are confident that this new addition will have a positive impact on our business and the customers we serve.”
On top of the work being carried out in Warrington, there has been no rest in the factory with production working as hard as ever. March has seen deliveries heading out the door for all our long-standing major customer around the world and also the first orders for new customer closer to home. J Brook Agricultural Services have taken delivery of their first AgriCover Kit and it was a great pleasure for myself to meet Jono and his team while they were fitting the first system. Jono has seen the growing demand for sheeting Systems in the agricultural community in his area and is now pleased to be able to offer the Transcover Agricultural range to his customers. I hope this proves very successful for Jono and the whole team!
