My name is Jon Letts, I am a Stock Control & Supply Chain Coordinator at Transcover.
What does that role involve on a day-to-day basis?
Dealing with suppliers from all over the globe, to bring the stock and components in that we require, when we require them. Communicating with them to ensure good working relationships and monitoring their performance accordingly. Maintaining, implementing and making positive amendments to internal processes relating to stock and supply.
Tell people something they may not know about you?
I am also a guitar & drums teacher and like to write & record instrumental music that mainly focuses on either of these 2 instruments.
Night in or Night out?
Either… I like both, but like to be as productive or entertained as possible, whichever and wherever that may be.
Cooked Dinner or Takeaway?
My actual preference would be: Meal at a restaurant or food & drink at a Café. Failing that… Cooked dinner would be second place and takeaway would be bottom of that trio.
City Break or Summer Holiday?
Both, as much as one another. New places, cities, areas, with new things to do & see, wherever that may be. Freezing Cold, Boiling Hot, I’m not fussed… as long as it’s a new experience and it entertains & educates me!
