Transcover Partner Truck-Align
Leading sheeting system manufacturer Transcover have partnered with Truck-Align London Ltd in a move that will further support its growing spare parts and truck installation requirements.
Colin Bartram of Transcover comments; “We are fortunate as a UK factory that Transcover have not suffered some of the delays and price increases brought on by disruptions to imports that our competitors have and have been able to capitalise on this. This has led us to look for a partner that will allow us to expand into this growing requirement, deliver spare parts quickly in the South East and be a trained accredited installer of Transcover products so we can turn around large fleet installations in a timely manner and to our high standard. We have known the team at Truck-Align for a number of years and with their locations at Dartford and Charlton and their same day delivery capabilities they are a perfect partners to further support our customers.”
Alongside sheeting system repairs and installations Truck-Align already carry out a number of useful tasks for operators in the region such as chassis straightening, wheel alignment, paint, fabrication/welding DVS door window etc.
Keith Banks the Business Development Manager of Truck-Align is also looking forward to the new arrangement; “Transcover have been a trusted brand for over 25 years so we are very happy to be working directly with them in an Official Partnership capacity. This is a flagship project but we know that if we offer local operators an accredited Transcover installation/ repair service and keep the stock here to support them we are giving customers what they want in a timely quick turnaround fashion”.
